Fiorentina are looking to sign Chelsea loanee Mohamed Salah permanently.
The Egyptian moved from Chelsea on-loan in the Jaunary transfer window, in a deal which saw Juan Cuadrado move the other way. Salah has been a big hit in Italy since his move – he has six goals and two assists in just 11 games.
With teammate Joaquín calling 22-year old a “young phenomenon”, rumours from Tuscany suggest that Fiorentina president Andrea Delle Valle is willing to pay the €18 million buy-out clause in Salah’s contract. It would be no surprise given his recent form, despite Salah having a disappointing period at Chelsea.
It is believed the Serie A club are also looking to secure his signature in order to gain a marketing opportunity in Egypt. However, Salah’s such good form in the space of just a few months has attracted attention from elsewhere. Fiorentina will have to find out reported interest from a host of clubs including Juventus, Roma and Wolfsburg.
