Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists that the La Liga giants will not sell the worlds most expensive player.
Recent weeks have seen Gareth Bale’s form dip and speculation of his exit increase ten-fold, with Chelsea and Manchester United topping the rumour pile.
The Welshman has been booed on several occasions by the Los Blancos fans who have been quick to blame the 25-year-old for a string of disappointing performances.
Perez told Spanish newspaper Marca: “We would never listen to any offers for Bale no matter what the bid was.
“He is a unique player who has already given so much to the team.
“He is the key to the club’s future, just like I cannot imagine a future without Cristiano Ronaldo.”
