Half time report: West Brom vs Chelsea

Half time report: West Brom vs Chelsea

by -

Chelsea have already wrapped up the Premier League title this season, so they will be playing for pride where as West Brom are already in safety and have nothing to lose.

Both teams started slowly but it is West Brom who opens the scoring. Berahino swivels on the edge of the box before he unleashes a very good effort from at least 25 yards out and it is 1-0 for the hosts

Chelsea managed to break on several occasions but at the half and hour mark, big drama happened.

Fabregas picked up a red card for colliding with Fletcher after thumping a ball into a group of players complaining to the referee. That was very childish and silly from the Spain International.

Diego Costa picked up a yellow for protesting and arguing with West Brom players

Chelsea haven’t done much so far, and Mourinho won’t be pleased by his team where as Pulis will be as his plan is working the moment

The Baggies, head into the break with two advantages: They hold a 1-0 lead and they have 11 men on the pitch

Let’s see Chelsea’s response in the second half.
