Manager Guus Hiddink has shared his views on Chelsea being drawn against Everton in the quarter-final of the FA cup at Goodison Park. Hiddink was the Interim manager of Chelsea when they faced Everton in the 2009 FA Cup final. He will have to beat them again if he is to stand any chance of winning the trophy for the second time in his second reign as the manager.
Hiddink told the BBC: “It was a long time ago. They are longing for revenge. We hope to maintain the flow we are in in the FA Cup.”
The Chelsea boss also shared his views on the game they played tonight,”Manchester City made changes but that doesn’t make it easy because the youngsters that came in were dangerous. It was key that we started well in the second half, got an early second and third goal.”
