Hiddink on Zouma’s injury: “The MRI will show how bad it is”

Guus Hiddink spoke about Kurt Zouma‘s horrible injury.

The French defender hurted his knee by himself in the middle of the second half: his right leg was stuck on the pitch while trying to catch a flying ball with the left one and his knee made an innatural hyper-extension.

Zouma was carried out of the pitch with a stretcher after Chelsea medical staff attended him.

“Tomorrow we know more,” said Hiddink to Sky Sports at the end of the game.

“But if you have this injury – and everyone has seen how bad it is – hyper-extension is always bad. I had this same problem once and it hurts. But let’s hope and see tomorrow what the MRIs will show.
