In the usual lap of honour at the end of the season at Stamford Bridge John Terry has stated he wants to remain at the club.
The Chelsea legend stated in response to the crowd chanting “John Terry we want you to stay”:
“I want to stay and the club, the fans know that. I want to stay.“
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was seen applauding in the box at this, some saw it as a sign that the negotiation with the Chelsea skipper can be successful.
The club captain gave no clear answers as to weather he would stay, but stated he wanted too and that everything would be sorted in the next couple of days.
Terry was really emotional during the entire lap of honour and struggled to hold tears back.
It seemed like that was the last time his supporters could see him at Stamford Bridge as a Blues player, but then it came the surprise when he grabbed the microphone at the center of he pitch.
The Chelsea legend was also lifted into the air by his team-mates.
