John Terry will undergo a scan today to know the extent of his injury.
Chelsea will face PSG on Tuesday in France in the Champions League and Manchester City in the FA Cup next Saturday at Stamford Bridge: the risk is to play these two huge games without their leader and captain.
Blues boss Guus Hiddink said yesterday in the press conference after Newcastle win:
“There are two big games coming up. We’ll see what the [physical] damage is tomorrow. After an intense game two days generally is not enough.
“We have to consider getting at least three [to recover] but it’s good to go with a win. Tomorrow we will examine John Terry. He might have hopefully a small muscular problem, and in cases like that it’s better to have one or two days more for recovery.”
