Starting XI:

Courtois 8 – The Belgian put in a big shift at Carrow Road today saving multiple chances from a determined Norwich.

Azpilicueta 5 – The fullback had an average game, he looked stronger in the first half, however multiple breakthroughs from the likes of Jerome showed the defence’s weakness.

Cahill 5 – Like Azpilicueta didn’t really perform well in the second half, however, he was not terrible.

Ivanovic 6 – Made some crucial tackles and passes which helped keep Norwich from scoring any more.

Kenedy 8 – Scoring a goal in the first minute of the game Kenedy’s work rate for the 69 minutes he spent on the pitch was impressive.

Fabregas 6 – Played very well in the first half creating multiple chances and winning the ball in centre-field, died down in the second half and gained a yellow card. Boost back to life in the final ten minutes of the game.

Matic 6 – Part of the reason Norwich had so much space in midfield and were able to break the defence in the second half. However, put in a lot of work.

Hazard 8 – Very good game from Eden who was keen to create chances and play for the shirt.

Oscar 4 – Gave the ball away a lot, received a yellow card. Subbed off at 60 minutes for good reason.

Traore 9 – excellent 60 minutes from the young attacking midfielder. Keen to both move forward and create and take chances. Only one bad touch of the ball all game.

Diego Costa 8 – Scored a goal (Despite being offside) linked up with Fabregas, Hazard and Traore well.

Baba 5 – Came on at 69 minutes for Kenedy, struggled to make an impact on the game.

Manager:

Guus Hiddink 7 – The Dutchman made some odd choices in his selection, however, winning away against a determined Canaries is not easy. Chelsea had promise in attack but defended poorly.
