In recent weeks there has been a lot of rumour and speculation of Alexandre Pato and his contract with Brazilian club Corinthians. Chelsea are said to have a deal in place to bring the 26-year-old forward to Stamford Bridge.
Corinthians are looking to sell the player in the next 48 hours after having a spell out on loan at Sao Paulo, and the Premier League is the strikers preferred destination. However, Guus Hiddink has his doubts on the transfer and is holding back slightly. The agreement was originally put in place by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho when he still had charge of the London club.
Pato has been linked with Liverpool and also an unnamed club from the Portuguese league but Chelsea are still firm favourites to acquire the players signature and services.
