Gerard Pique has said that rumours suggesting Cesc Fabregas is leading a player revolt at Chelsea are “impossible.”
Recent reports in England have stated that the Chelsea players are willing to rebel against manager Jose Mourinho, who has overseen the club’s worst league start in 30 years.
Fabregas, who played with Pique at Barca and remains a close friend of the defender having both come through the Barca youth system, was accused of leading this player uprising against the 52-year old.
“I know Cesc well and there’s absolutely no chance of that,” Pique told Goal on Sunday.
“We already know the British media likes to speculate, but I know what Cesc is like and it is impossible he is acting this way.”
