Tottenham star Moussa Sissoko is ready for “another battle” against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Last May Spurs lost their title race when they drew 2-2 in West London, giving Leicester City the mathematical certainty of the title and their frustration led to some incredible fouls on Blues players that also caused some scuffles on the pitch before the final whistle.
Sissoko was a Newcastle player at the time, but he could see the match on TV:
“I saw the tackles flying in on TV last season and it is going to be another massive game on Saturday,” he told the Daily Star.
“But I am sure we will be ready for it. All the players will be up for it.
Spurs were knocked out from the Champions League after losing 2-1 in Monaco, a big failure that can also bring more motivation in the Premier League to Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad:
“I think the Chelsea game comes at the right moment for us because going out of the Champions League is such a big disappointment we feel we must do something to put it right.
“We need to show more character and play better than we did in Monaco,” Sissoko added.
