Gareth Bale could return to Premier League next summer, as there is a possibility he could leave Real Madrid.
According to Spanish sources, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all contenders to secure the Welsh star’s signature in the summer transfer window.
The Real Madrid winger has had a somewhat difficult season in the Spanish capital, and despite him stating that he would like to stay at the Merengues and his manager Carlo Ancelotti saying he won’t leave, he could be the one that Florentino Perez can sacrifice to do the “big summer deal” as the Daily Mail reported today.
According to some Spanish sources, Real Madrid would like to sign Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund, and to respect FFP rules they would have to sell one precious piece of their star-studded squad.
It seems that the player who could go through the exit door would be Bale, that suffered a low form and several injuries in the last months and now also his relationship with the demanding Real Madrid fans seems ruined.
Reus’ buy-out clause now is more or less £40m , while 25-year old Bale, who cost Madrid £86m two years ago, can be realesed now from Los Blancos for £75 million.
