Former Chelsea striker Tore André Flo is sure that Antonio Conte would find a good replacement for Diego Costa, should the Spaniard leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
“He has been great, there’s no doubt about it. - the Norwegian star said - He scored many goals, especially this season as he scored important goals in important matches. He’s been very good, all together Chelsea [have been really good]”.
“If he should go, I think chelsea would find another great striker as big clubs do. Personally it would be nice to see him continuing his great form and being here another year”.
Flo, who currently works in Chelsea Academy as a coach and ambassador, made his third appearance at Asian Star event which took place at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
He said: “It is a fantastic event run by the Chelsea Foundation and most importantly a great opportunity for these young children. There are lots of different nationalities in the Premier League and England in general but not many from the Asian community and we hope events like this will start to change that process”.
“Of course we would love to find a star player but the main thing is the kids have fun and having spent some time with them there is no doubt they are. I have been twice before and both times that was at Cobham so to have the event here at the home of the champions adds something special and it is a day none of the players will forget”.
