Arsenal are patiently waiting on Petr Cech to resolve his situation at Chelsea before they can make a move for the goalkeeper.
According to reports, the Blues are ready to accept offers of £10m or more, in order to part ways with their legendary goalkeeper.
At this points, it is difficult to imagine, Mourinho allowing Cech to move to London rival Arsenal, considering both managers dislike of one another.
Cech has only started four games for Chelsea this season, since losing his starting place to Thibaut Courtois. And he has already made it very clear that he doesn’t want to spend another season as a second choice keeper.
“I don’t know what the club’s idea will be. it looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo, but that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like that.” Cech said.
“There will always be speculation, I leave it for the summer. I will be important to sit down with the club, with the manager, to consider all the pros and cons. We will see what will work out the best.” He added.
With Cech future in doubt, Arsene Wenger is willing to wait and see what the keeper does in the summer before making a move.
At this moment, the gunners best hope of landing Cech, would be if the keeper decides to force through a transfer.
