Brazilian midfielder Willian had an outstanding performance today against Aston Villa and he was also praised by José Mourinho in the post-match press conference.

The winger spoke about the game against Villains and the moment of the team with Chelsea TV after the final whistle:

“I’m happy with my performance but I’m happy today because we won, we played very well and fought until the end so we have to continue this way.

“The manager spoke to us he told us we had to fight on the pitch and to be mentally dominant, so when we came onto the pitch we tried to play the best football and I think today we played really well.

“It’s true I was a little tired after travelling so much in the international break but I rested two days at my home and today I felt good”

“We won today so now we got more confidence, we have to continue like this”

Willian moved to Chelsea from Ukranian side Shaktar Donetsk, where he played six years: Chelsea will be back there this Tuesday to face Dinamo Kyiv for the Champions League third matchday of the group stage:

“I am happy to be back there, I have good memories [of Ukraine] but I hope we will win the match”.
