Arsenal will make a bid of €45 million for one time Chelsea target Mauro Icardi.
Inter Milan will allow their prized asset to go should a club offer enough money and, according to Corriere dello Sport, title chasing Arsenal will do just that.
Reports suggest Inter would even be willing to sell the Argentine in the upcoming January transfer market but that appears unlikely as Roberto Macini’s side currently sit top of the Serie A table, two points clear of 2nd placed Napoli. The departure of Icardi would severely damage their title ambitions.
Icardi has been of interest to Chelsea since January last year when there was fervent speculation the Blues may lure him away from the San Siro. As Chelsea have played so badly for much of this season they may revisit the idea of signing the 22-year-old.
