Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on PSG frustrated defender Marquinhos, reports from France say.
The Brazilian international started only 6 matches in this season so far, and sounded really disappointed when interviewed by Journal du Dimanche yesterday:
“Like everybody, I am always thinking about getting into the starting XI.
“But you have to respect the coach’s decision and that of the board.
“I will continue to work in order to get my place. But it is true that there will be a moment where I want more.
“We can not always be used to the bench.
“Six months remain for me to win trophies and to try to become a starter. After that, we will see what happens.”
Marquinhos moved to PSG from Roma in summer 2013 for £22m and his price-tag is set on £25m by the French club.
Chelsea have been desperately looking for a quality central defender to revamp their squad since last summer, the chance to sign Marquinhos can be a present from this January transfer window.
