According to the Guardian, Chelsea may be interested in securing the services of Tottenham’s striker Emmanuel Adebayor in order to replace Diego Costa .
The Togo player is currently a free agent as Tottenham released him in September. And according to the latest rumours, Jose Mourinho is considering the possibility of bringing him at Stamford Bridge. Diego Costa’s poor form has forced the Portuguese coach to look for successors.
For a few days the media are full of information about who would succeed Costa at Chelsea. On the list of names are already Antoine Griezmann, Saido Berahino (his candidacy is strongly supported by Emenalo), Gonzalo Higuain,Harry Kane and now also perhaps the most surprising candidate Emmanuel Adebayor.
Adebayor and Mourinho know each other from Real Madrid where together they cooperated really well. According to various soccer experts, the Special One brought the best out of Adebayor at the Bernabeu.
