Muto has made an excellent opening impression in Japan

A fascinating new star is reportedly attracting Chelsea interest. From the capital club Tokyo FC, Yoshinori Muto the international striker is 22 years old. Due to his performances this season and the previous one is attracting many European clubs, and Mainz could be his choice.

Lately, however, the Japanese believes he would gain more experience and game time in the Bundesliga and is willing to snub Chelsea and discuss a £4million move to Germany.

Last month he was asked about this opportunity: “I want to think about it carefully.

“Where can I go to develop? A team that suits me, where I can play and develop. I’m thinking about that, and for now I just want to take my time and think it through.”

He could be a great deal for squad itself and either economically to improve Chelsea’s Asian appeal.
