Chelsea lining up Tomovic move after failing to sign Bonucci

by -

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Fiorentina defender Nenad Tomovic as Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci is reportedly set to pen a new deal with the Serie A champions, the Daily Star revealed.

It is understood also AC Milan star Alessio Romagnoli won’t leave the Rossoneri as well as Kalidou Koulibaly, while Manchester United are said to be ready to enter the race to sign Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Also Roma centre-back Antonio Rudiger is not expected to be leaving Italy when the transfer market window reopens.

Tomovic could be the right man to revamp the Blues’ defense with a January swoop as manager Antonio Conte is said to be a great fan of the 29-year-old, who is contracted at the Artemio Franchi until June 2020.
