Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with Chilean international Charles Aranguiz.
Reports from South America suggest the two London giants are keen on the midfielder, now 25, and last Sunday Arsene Wenger scouted him in his second home, the Emirates, during the friendly game between Brazil and Chile. We undestood also that Mourinho too sent some scouts to watch him.
After the rumour spread Carlos Pellegrini, the international sport director of Internacional, the club where Aranguiz plays now, declared to AS Chile: “Nothing formally exists with Chelsea, nor with any other club for Charles Aranguiz. The Chilean is a fundamental player in our team and we haven’t even considered the scenario of letting him leave”.
The value market of the player, however, is set around 10m £, not a big amount of money for a club like Chelsea.
