Chelsea will be keeping a close eye on long term target Mauro Icardi.
The Inter Milan forward may be Stamford Bridge bound after reportedly turning down a new contract at the San Siro.
According to reports in the Telegraph, Icardi has been offered a £2m-a-year contract, but has rejected the offer as he holds out for £2.2m.
The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals this season, which has seen a host of top clubs show interest in the talented forward.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with the Argentine in recent weeks who will cost either club something in the region of £30m.
Last week Icardi announced in an interview that he would leave the club if they were ready to cash in on his sale.
