Dutch club Ajax have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign striker Bertrand Traore on a season-long loan.
The Burkina Faso international was targeted by Ajax after they sold Polish international Arek Milik to Napoli for them to replace Gonzalo Higuain.
Traore will be reunited with his former Vitesse coach, Peter Bosz. He joined Vitesse in 2013 on-loan from Chelsea and scored 14 goals in 16 appearances in the Dutch league.
Traore is said to be happy about the deal, he wants to gain as much first team experience as he can. The report also states that he could be available for Ajax‘s Champions League play-off on Tuesday against Russian side Rostov.
In addition to this, the sale of Traore could mean that the Blues will be in the market for a new striker to assist Diego Costa in an attacking sense, as they look to improve on last season’s campaign.
