Chelsea are targeting AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, with the Daily Express claiming they are willing to meet the £30 million asking price.
The report originates from Italian publication Gazetta, who claim that the Blues are keen to sign the Colombian as they attempt to solve their goalscoring issues.
At present, Guus Hiddink only has one realistic striking option in the form of Diego Costa, with fellow striker Radamel Falcao out with a groin injury and Loic Remy struggling to find form.
Bacca, who helped Sevilla win the Europa League last season, has scored nine goals in 21 appearances since joining AC Milan last summer.
It is unclear how strong Chelsea’s chances are at signing Bacca, with the player having moved to the San Siro just six months ago.
