Conte wants Chelsea to land Andrea Belotti despite £88m buyout clause

Antonio Conte and Chelsea narrowed down their attacking choices to Alvaro Morata or Andrea Belotti as Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not expected to leave the Bundesliga giants, as confirmed by sporting director Michael Zorc earlier today.

Chelsea are reportedly considering to smash their current club-record signing, which is the £50m move of Fernando Torres to Stamford Bridge in 2011. Belotti’s buyout clause is worth £88m for clubs overseas.

Torino chairman Urbano Cairo recently said: “I chose the clause to be €100m (£88m) abroad remember, because it is very high and for the moment no-one has come in for him, I’m glad he’s with us and hope he stays.”
