Everton to offer Lukaku new contract amid Chelsea interest

Everton are set to meet up with Mino Raiola to discuss a potential contract extension for their striker Romelu Lukaku despite Chelsea have already offered a cash-plus-players bid for the 23-year-old, according to the Daily Express.

The report suggests the Toffees have told the Blues they are not willing to sell the Belgium international especially should John Stones join Manchester City, then are said to be ready to offer Lukaku a new contract in spite of his well-known desire to rejoin Chelsea.

The Daily Mail claimed last week that Chelsea remain confident they will take their former player back to Stamford Bridge with an offer of £65million plus Loic Remy, while Everton say they have yet to receive any kind of contact.
