Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be the most wanted free-agent in Europe next summer

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given further credence to the possibility of him joining Chelsea by telling PSG that he wants to leave, according to the Metro.

Ibrahimovic is the most well known member of an expensively put together side that has dominated French football recent years but failed to make much of an impact in the Champions League. They have reached the quarter-final stage in each of the past three seasons but have twice been beaten by Barcelona and, most memorably, Chelsea in 2014.

The Swede has played for many of the best clubs in Europe, such as Juventus, Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan, but he has never graced the Premiership and rumours have been circulating that Mourinho, who coached him at the San Siro, wishes to bring him to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for Didier Drogba, particularly as it appears almost certain that Loic Remy will leave and some of Chelsea promising attacking talent in the academy will be loaned out.
