According to the reports, Chelsea have agreed to sell their winger Juan Cuadrado on permanent deal to Juventus in January.
Cuadrado joined Chelsea from Fiorentina for £26.1m last January but failed to impress at Stamford Bridge. That is why the Blues agreed for his season’s loan to the Italian giants Juventus.
According to the London Evening Standard, Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci met for talks on Saturday in order to secure the permanent deal for the Colombia international. It is said that his permanent transfer to the capital of Piedmont will cost £15.75million but the Italian papers reveals, that Juventus are trying to receive a discount to sign Cuadrado permanently.
The potential permanent move to Italy, seems to please Cuadrado, who said today:
“[My situation is] all in the hands of God, but I hope my former Chelsea teammates and Mourinho recover as soon as possible, they are strong and will react.”
“I must admit my love for Serie A, Italian football, for a country that feels like my second home. Yes here I give my best, I’m fine.”
