“I have always said there will be a warm welcome for every good player here and he is a good player, – Everton manager Ronald Koeman said speaking at press conference, when asked about the possibility of signing Diego Costa to Everton.

“Diego Costa is a good player, so yes” the Dutchman noted.

It is understood the Brazilian star only wants to join Atletico Madrid on a permanent move from Chelsea, with also Everton, Deportivo La Coruna and A.C. Milan reportedly interested in the striker.

Anyway, Costa could consider a Premier League move instead of a reunion with former manager Diego Pablo Simeone in Madrid.

Meanwhile, Everton winger Ross Barkley could be heading to Chelsea as Antonio Conte is trying to hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s deal for the England international.
