Chelsea, Manchester City and now also Manchester United will fight among themselves for Everton defender, John Stones. According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils are really keen on signing the young footballer.

John Stones spent his last season playing as a right-back at Everton. He made 28 appearances in all competition, scoring one goal. However it was a goal over Manchester United. During the season he gained intrested from Jose Mourinho who confirmed his interest in the player more then a month ago.

According to the statistics, Stones had a pass accuracy of 90% and a shot accuracy of 20%, and won 59 headers, 22 dribbles and 27 tackles. Such a player would be useful in every team especially in the team that wants to challenge for victory in the Premier League.

Stones, who claimed to be United’s fan as a boy, is considered by Luis van Gaal as a perfect strengthen of their back-line. However nothing is certain yet as the defender is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2019 and have signed a new £30,000-a-week deal last August.
