Mohamed Salah joins Liverpool from AS Roma on a £39 move, the Premier League outfit have announced the deal.
“I’m very excited to be here. I’m very happy, – Salah told the club’s official website. – I will give 100 per cent and give everything for the club. I really want to win something for this club”.
Chelsea are set to receive a £2.7m bonus from the sale of the Egypt international, who left Stamford Bridge on loan in 2015 before the Blues decided to sell him permanently last August for £12m.
Salah becomes Liverpool’s most expensive signing in their history as Andy Carroll was paid £35m in 2011.
