Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is keen to complete a loan deal for Chelsea striker Loic Remy in the January transfer window, the Sun claims.
Pardew is short of attacking options after fellow Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford personally ended his “terrible” loan spell at Selhurst Park.
Remy has been a long-term target of the Eagles boss, who worked with the Frenchman at Newcastle.
However, Remy is also a target for Aston Villa, with Villains boss Remi Garde openly stating yesterday that he wanted the former QPR frontman.
However, having recently received £100 million worth of investment recently, Pardew has money to spend, with Remy’s future at Stamford Bridge unclear after the departure of Jose Mourinho. He has also struggled to establish a first-team place since his £8.5 million arrival from QPR in 2014.
