Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has ruled out the option of selling Sterling
The England international’s future is on doubt as he is currently stalling on signing a new deal and reports suggested Arsenal and Chelsea may be interested on him.
Sterling, 20, has reportedly turned down a new contract worth £180,000-per-week.
However, Rodgers has ruled out selling the winger – who may be tempted to leave in order to play Champions League.
“He’s got two and a half years left on his contract and he is not going anywhere. Liverpool is one of the super-powers.”
Rodgers added: “The owners have shown that if they don’t want to sell, they won’t sell. If any player ever left Raheem or any other, it would be on the terms of the club.”
