Kepa Arrizabalaga is currently heading to London as a permanent move to Chelsea is set to be completed, according to reports in Spain and England.
However, earlier this morning Athletic Bilbao have confirmed the 23-year-old’s release clause has been activated.
The signing of Kepa will become the world’s most expensive fee for a goalkeeper.
Thibaut Courtois is expected to become a Real Madrid player in the next few hours, with Mateo Kovacic also on his way to Chelsea as a part of the £35m deal which will land the Belgian international to Santiago Bernabeu.
