Antonio Rudiger was selected in Germany’s XI to face Sweden in Soči last night.

A last-gasp goal from Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos completed a clinical turnaround as Germany scored twice to bounce back in the second half.

The Chelsea defender came in to replace injured star Mats Hummels, who suffered a problem on his neck ahead of the game.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill could start for England in their second game of 2018 World Cup against Panama this afternoon.
